Hello foreigners - this is my first ever blog entry in English.
How come? I think if you are trying to take over instagram, you have to respect the many million users interested in your content. yet not speaking Hungarian.
For you more is to await :)
I started cooking "for" instagram about a month ago - and I am hugely surprised, how it changed my mind and how I am thinking about the process of cooking nowadays.
There is a Hungarian meme page, which is really-really hard to explain for those, who are not speaking this btw. beautiful language. It is making fun out of mostly Gen-Z people, who are - khm - not se well educated and follow a certain lifestyle of being always fabulous and trendy, yet all this expecting this from someone else to provide.
There is a picture, a drawing depicting a family in the 50's - lovely picture, they are sitting around a table. One of the kids is asking mommy, whether he / she can get from the food on the table. Then the answer comes:
" No darling, we cooked that for inas-gram"
( Inas-gram, as it is written originally - a joke that they are barely able to write the name of the platform, they see as the one and only trend )
This picture and the saying from mommy is coming to me nowadays quite often. And why?
Because I partially feel like mommy - I am cooking for "inas-gram"
This is partially okay and good, and partially bad.
Good, because this motivates me to cook more and something better looking
Bad, because this is leading my hand, look over the taste
How this should be going forward?
I need to show what is not that perfectly looking, yet delicious
Or, how the big guy Lenin once said: "to learn.to learn.to lean."
What to learn ? Food-photography.
